Department of Chemical Engineering

Apart from academic activities, students are required to complete 800 hours of practical training as part of the B.Sc. Chemical Engineering Degree. This practical training is arranged during summer vacations in any esteemed national or international chemical industry. The major fields of interests are petroleum refineries, gas processing, petrochemicals, polymers, sugar, fertilizers, cement, glass, ceramic and other chemical industries. This training also helps students in the selection of their final year projects for addressing existing field oriented problems.
