Computing Facilities
The Department has well-equipped computer laboratories with networked IBM PCs. Latest CAD and simulation software prepare the students to be well versed with current computer applications.

Industrial Visits
Industrial visits are regularly conducted every year to broaden the horizon of the students and to appraise them with the industry of Pakistan.

Practical work in laboratories forms an essential part of the curriculum. Almost all subjects taught are augmented by practicals in the laboratories. The Department has a boiler lab, an automobile/ heat-engine lab, refrigeration lab, heat transfer laboratory, metallurgy laboratory, computer laboratory. Recently a rapid proto-typing machine has been added to the department laboratories. In the area of production/ manufacturing, facilities include conventional and CNC machine tools. Latest laborites for Mechatronics include robotics laboratory, instrumentation laboratory, advance CAD/CAM laboratory, and Mechatronics Design Laboratory.
